Ducted Air Conditioning Checks
1. Make sure your system is set up correctly
- Is the controller display on? If not, check the batteries or wall power.
- Set the system to:
- Cool mode for summer
- Heat mode for winter
- Avoid using Fan or Dry if you’re trying to change the temperature.
- Set the temperature to 24°C in summer or 20°C in winter.
- If you have zones, ensure the rooms you’re using are open and set to 100%.
2. Clean your return air filter
- Open the return air grille (usually in a hallway).
- Remove the filter and clean it with warm, soapy water.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly (not in the sun) before putting it back.
3. Reset the system
- Go to your home’s power board (usually in the garage or side of house).
- Find the switch labelled A/C or Air Conditioner.
- Turn it OFF for 30 minutes.
- Turn it ON again and wait for the system to reboot.

Evaporative Cooling Checks
1. Set the system correctly
- Make sure the controller is set to Cool mode and the water is turned on.
- Open your windows slightly in rooms with vents (5–10cm is ideal).
- Too much open window space can reduce cooling efficiency.
2. If it’s not cooling properly
- On humid days, evaporative cooling may be less effective — this is normal. Try switching to Fan mode temporarily.
- If warm air is blowing, check the water supply and mode setting.
- Uneven airflow? This may require balancing — contact us if needed.
3. Other tips
- Remote not responding? Try replacing batteries
- New system smell? Run on high fan with windows open for a few hours.
- Some water draining from the unit is normal.
